Buresh Blog: 2020 billion dollar disasters... Countdown (avg. high temps.) through spring... “Weather 101” videos

Jacksonville, FL — Meteorologists & statisticians continue to gather & organize data from the year that was 2020. There were 22 billion dollar disasters which is a record according to Climate.gov. The combined damage of about 95 billion dollars was 4th to only 2012 ($125 billion)... 2005 ($225 billion) & 2017 ($320 billion).

And as one would expect, the year was warm - the 5th warmest on record for the U.S. In fact, the 6 warmest years on record have all occurred since 2005.
