April 3, 2019 — Spring will be in full swing over the next couple months which equates to much warmer temps., longer days & usually pretty dry weather overall. The dryness is not good news as we're coming off a drier than average March.
The combination of two of the drier months of the year, longer days, warmer temps. & high evaporation rates results in the typical peak of the wildfire season. The "wet season" - nearly daily thunderstorms & rainfall totaling more than half our annual average - is generally June through September.
