• First Alert Weather: Cold Start to Sunday

    JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - Colder air continues filtering in tonight dropping temps to the upper 30s across SE GA and low to mid 40s for NE FL. Coastal locations will remain in the 50s with stronger winds. A COASTAL FLOOD ADVISORY continues until 4 AM Sunday for elevated high tides. The wind will relax Sunday and with plenty of sunshine, afternoon highs will be a little warmer, in the upper 60s for SE GA and low 70s for NE FL. It will be a fantastic day to enjoy outdoors.


    Veteran's Day will be even warmer with highs in the upper 70s and a few more clouds. Another cold front arrives Tuesday bringing a few showers late in the day. Wednesday will be cooler again with highs returning to the 60s.



    Tonight, the coldest air since April moves in with morning lows down into the low 40s in JAX and upper 30s in SE Georgia. We stay clear on Sunday as temperatures warm into the 70s by afternoon - a great day!


    No areas of concern and no development expected over the next five days. Hurricane Season ends Nov. 30.
