First Alert Weather: First freeze of the season; Temperatures to reach the 50s Tuesday

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — We are feeling a chilly morning Tuesday with temperatures in the 30s. An inland freeze warning is in effect through 8 a.m. for many inland locations along and north of I-10. We could see a brief light freeze near or before sunrise.

Highs today will make it only to the upper 50s under sunny skies.

The average first freeze in Jacksonville (JIA) is Dec.13. Tonight will be chilly as well in the upper 30s by early tomorrow morning. We will gradually climb to near 70 degrees by Friday.
