First Alert Weather: Temperatures to reach the 80s Tuesday

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — We are tracking areas of patchy fog this morning along the coast and for some locations inland. The fog will burn off through the morning as skies become partly sunny. We will warm up again to likely record high temperatures in the lower 80s. It will be warm and humid this week. Highs will remain near record levels tomorrow. We drop only to the upper 70s by Thursday.

A few showers are likely on Thursday afternoon/evening as a front moves into the area. Friday will be slightly “cooler” behind the front. Highs will end the work week in the upper 60s. Saturday looks to be mainly dry and mild before a few more showers move in on Sunday.
