We will be near record highs tomorrow. Temperatures will surge to the lower to mid 80s ahead of a cold front that will sweep through the area on Thursday night. We will likely see a few scattered showers develop in the afternoon ahead of a main line of thunderstorms.
Thursday night we will likely be tracking a line of potentially strong to severe storms approaching from our west and northwest. This line will be approaching our area before midnight. The main threats are heavy rain, gusty winds of 50-60 mph, and an isolated tornado. Friday’s morning commute will be mainly dry and breezy with some leftover wet roadways.
Here is an update for the timing and impacts for tomorrow night's storm system.
