• First Alert Weather: Tracking Showers, Cooler Temperatures

    JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - WATCH LIVE: Meteorologist Corey Simma has your First Alert forecast all morning long on FOX30 and CBS47
    The morning commute may have some isolated showers, mainly along and north of I-10. Clouds increase today with warm temperatures in the low to mid 80s for daytime highs. A few showers & isolated storms develop this afternoon/evening mainly along and north of I-10 moving from west to east.

    Showers and embedded storms roll across the I-10 corridor overnight, with some activity lingering for the Wednesday morning commute. Warm again Wednesday before afternoon temps drop into the low 80s/upper 70s and mornings into the 50s on Friday!

    TROPICS: A tropical wave in the Western Caribbean may move into the Western Gulf over the next few days with low chances of development. A tropical wave in the Central Atlantic also has low chances of development. Tropical Depression #15 is tracking toward Cabo Verde off the west coast of Africa. There is NO imminent threat to the U.S. or NE Florida.
