Today will be partly sunny and HOT again – highs reach the mid to upper 90s and it will FEEL like 100-105. Showers and storms develop near I-95 after 1-2 PM. Activity gradually shifts inland through late afternoon into the evening with numerous showers expected between Hwy 301 & I-75. Redevelopment over I-95 is possible into the evening/night – like yesterday. Present rain should come to an end before midnight. Monday will be hot again with a few showers & storms before the chance for rain ramps up Tuesday.
TROPICS: An area of disorganized showers & storms east of the Bahamas will track westward over the next day or two. Tropical development is not expected in the short-term but conditions may become more conducive over the next few days. Long-range models have nothing of note forming. We’re tracking.
