1 dead, 1 injured in shooting in Edgewood Manor

One person is dead and another is injured after a shooting Wednesday night on Lantana Avenue.

The shooting happened around 8 p.m. in the Edgewood Manor area of town, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office.

The injured person was taken to UF Health Jacksonville in critical condition.

No suspects or victims were named. JSO said there's no word if the shooting was gang-related.
