ALDI is looking to fill 500 positions statewide during a one-day career fair on Thursday.
The company is looking to fill positions at all store locations in Florida, including Jacksonville.
The job fair will be held from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sept. 21 at any Aldi store, including the brand-new one at the St. Johns Town Center.
Wages range from $11.50 to $24 per hour depending on position.
Job seekers can apply in person at the hiring event.
Positions include:
• Store Associate: $11.50 - $12.50 per hour, depending on location
• Shift Manager: $16 - $17 per hour, depending on location
• Manager Trainee: $49,920 - $59,000 per year ($24 per hour averaging 40-45 hours per week) with an opportunity to earn $80,000 - $90,000 per year as a Store Manager
Job Requirements:
• Must be 18 years or older to apply
• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Must be available to work anytime between 6 a.m. and 11 p.m., Monday - Sunday
• Retail experience preferred
• Management experience preferred for Manager Trainees
• Drug screening and background check
• Ability to lift 45 pounds
