Clay County: Daughter jumps on, damages mother's car over cell phone

The Clay County Sheriff's Office reported the arrest of a woman after she jumped up and down on her mothers car, damaging the hood, after an argument about a cell phone.

CCSO said Andeja Mims, 18, was arrested for vandalism July 19 after her mother Angeline Mims, 46, reported the disturbance.

According to CCSO, Andeja took her mothers cell phone, which prompted an argument before she drove away.

Angeline followed her daughter to 153 Blanding Boulevard, with her other children and boyfriend in the car.

CCSO said that when Angeline arrived at the same location as her daughter, Andeja became upset, ran towards her mothers vehicle, jumped on the hood and continued jumping up and down damaging the vehicle.

According to CCSO no one in Angeline's car was harmed when Andeja damaged the vehicle.
