The U. S. Coast Guard Southeast station in Georgia rescued a man on Saturday from his sinking sailboat in the Brunswick area.
The station was called after a man's boat took on water in St. Andrews Sound. The man said the sailboat had hit something in the water before it begun to sink.
A wave threw the man overboard and a Coast Guard unit rescued the man. He was taken to Jacksonville and it was determined he does not have any injuries.
