JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — A 52-year-old Jacksonville man died Wednesday in a single-vehicle crash on the Southside Connector just north of Merrill Road near I-295.
The crash was reported around 8 a.m.
Hugh Rawls, driving a 2000 Jeep Wrangler, veered into wet grass next to the road, overcorrected and flipped several times. Rawls, who wasn't wearing a seat belt, was ejected in the crash.
