Bradford mother finds 22-month-old son dead

STARKE, Fla. — Deputies are investigating after a mother found her baby dead at a Bradford County home on Saturday.

Police were called to a home in the 16800 block of NE 19th Avenue after 11 a.m.

Fire rescue pronounced the 22-month-old boy dead at the scene.

Deputies said they are waiting for autopsy results and do not yet know the boy's cause of death.

They interviewed the boy's family members and said two other children also live at the home.

Department of Children and Families said they are also investigating.
