Investigators from the Union County Sheriff's Office and the Florida Department of Law Enforcement determined that Anderson was the victim of foul play. Evidence shows Anderson died from a single gunshot wound, UCSO said.

Witnesses told investigators that Crawford visited Anderson at his home on Sunday evening. A search warrant was obtained for a home off SW Fourth Avenue, where Crawford was staying.

Crawford was located and arrested in Gainesville on felony charges, including burglary and grand theft, and will soon be transported back to Union County to be questioned about his role in Anderson's death.
