Two men have died after a shooting Saturday night that started outside a convenience store, Jacksonville police said.
Officers were called to a report of a shooting at 6:20 p.m. at the intersection of 28th Street West and Stuart Avenue. Police said they found two victims with gunshot wounds and they were taken to a local hospital.
Dorian Brown, 28, died at the hospital on the day of the shooting and police announced Darnell Dues, 30, died at the hospital Monday.
Police said the shooting started by a convenience store near the intersection and they reported there were 40 shell casings at the scene.

Police report multiple firearms are involved in the shooting. Officers are investigating the events that led up to the shooting by talking to witnesses and the families of the victims.
The shooting, which police say involves at least two shooters, is not being classified as a drive-by shooting, police said.
The investigation is ongoing.
