That changed when a group of six men came to his house and built him a ramp, free of charge.
Six men from Haywood Church's Men's Ministry came out to his house with supplies.
It took them men nearly a whole day to build the ramp after having to change plans because of a tree stump.
The group shared a photo of the completed ramp on Facebook.
The look on the Georgia veteran's face is priceless!
