Group in South Florida offers to take care of rabbit in abuse video

A group from South Florida is offering to take care of a rabbit that was seen being thrown around in a Snapchat video.

Action News Jax was told a long list of people are looking to adopt the rabbit.

Three Nassau County teens are facing animal cruelty charges after the disturbing video surfaced. The video has been shared many times on social media after it was initially taken on Snapchat.

The video can be hard to watch. In the video, a teen is seen picking up the rabbit and throwing it against a wall while laughing is heard in the background.

The rabbit has a fractured leg and other injuries.

The reports on the teenage girls are expected to be released Tuesday.
