Jacksonville nurses flash dance for mom, newborn

A mother had a pleasant surprise before she left a Jacksonville hospital with her newborn girl.

While Mina Filbert gave birth to her child, Kricket, at Baptist Medical South on May 18.

On a dry erase board, she had written three things that nurses wanted to know about her. The last request? She wanted nurses to give her a flashdance before leaving the hospital.

She said that throughout her stay, maternity staff would ask questions about her husband, herself and her baby girl.

The family was discharged Saturday but not before medical staff danced to "My Girl" in front of the family.

Mina said she would often sing the song to her unborn child.

She said she was very thankful for the staff making her hospital stay a very special one.
