The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office reported an officer-involved crash early Tuesday morning near the 5000 block of Cleveland Rd.
JSO said several patrol cars were pursuing a possible DUI suspect when one officer got out of his car to put down stop sticks in the road.
The suspect lost control of the car and hit the officer, according to JSO, and the other officer's patrol car hit a fire hydrant.
Both officers are expected to recover and the suspect was arrested.
