A Jacksonville Sheriff's Officer is expected to be OK after being pepper-sprayed by a shoplifting suspect at The Avenues mall on Tuesday night.
Viewers alerted Action News Jax of the heavy police presence at the mall on social media.

A JSO sergeant on scene told Action News Jax there were four suspects total and more than one store was hit at the mall.
All suspects are now in custody.
