Woman found dead in Jacksonville pool

Officers investigated a death in the Southside Estates area on Friday morning.

The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office said officers were called to a home on Forest Boulevard at 8:25 a.m.

Officers said people who live at the home found the woman, who was in her 30s, in their pool.

Officers said she came over the night before to hang out. No foul play is suspected in her death.

"At this point, we do not expect foul play. However, we are investigating into the manner of death and what happened," said JSO Sgt. Steve Rudlaff.

It's unclear at this point if alcohol was involved.

"There is signs of alcohol. However, at this point, we do not know what, if, the victim of this consumed or not," Rudlaff said.

The man and woman who live in the home have been questioned, but right now, police say there are no signs of foul play.
