Officers are asking for the public's help in identifying a man after three women were raped in Jacksonville.
Jacksonville Sheriff's Office released a sketch of the man Friday at a press conference.
Officers believe he sexually assaulted one woman in 2015 and two women in 2016. Officers believe he may have more victims.
The first attack was reported on Oct. 9, 2015.
A woman said she was smoking weed and doing cocaine outside the Mount Vernon Motel on Philips Highway.
She said she woke up near a dumpster behind the motel with her pants off. She told officers she was hurt and believed she was raped, according to a police report.
A second sexual assault was reported on Jan. 22, 2016.
A woman said she was raped by a man who offered her a ride to downtown.
The woman ran and hid in some bushes when officers arrived on Dennis Street, a police report said.
Her jeans were around her ankles and she was crying hysterically, the report said.
She told officers she met a man at the Speedway at Lane Avenue and Interstate 10 and accepted a ride from him.
She said he pulled onto a dead end on Watts Street, pulled out a gun and threatened to shoot her if she didn't have sex with him.
She said she ran to the Airsoft Arena for help after he raped her.
The third attack was reported on Oct. 6, 2016.
A woman told officers that she was walking down Myrtle Avenue near 8th Street when she noticed a car driving erratically.
She said she began to walk more quickly but the driver pulled up next to her.
She said a man pulled her into the car. She said he had a gun and drove her to Myrtle Avenue and Dennis Street, where he parked behind a business.
She said she didn't say a word because she was afraid he would shoot her.
He told her to get out of the car and get on her knees then raped her, according to the police report.
She said she walked to her house and someone took her to the hospital.
Officers believe the same man committed all three of the attacks.
He is described as a black man between 30 and 45 years old. One victim described him as 5 feet and 4 inches tall. He has a large tattoo on one of his calves and was driving a dark-colored sedan with dark tint.
Action News Jax showed the JSO sketch to people in areas where the attacks happened. Two people said they recognized the suspect and that he hangs around the Lane Avenue and I-10 area.
We immediately called JSO and they said that information would be passed along to detectives.
"He looks so much like 10 or 15 people I've seen in this neighborhood," neighbor Damian Stewart said. "If someone is raping somebody when you find them castrate them."
"It's chaotic out here, period. Everyone has guns, you're not safe nowhere out here," neighbor Lonzo Smith said.
A JSO spokesperson said officers have exhausted all investigative efforts.
They are asking anyone who recognizes the man in the sketch to call JSO at (904) 630-0500 or Crime Stoppers 1-866-845-TIPS.
JSO believes he may have attacked other women. They are urging any victims to call police.
