Jacksonville police: Man shot while riding in car in Moncrief

The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office is looking for a gunman after a man was shot while riding in a car near West 33rd and Pearce streets in Moncrief.

The victim, a man in his 30s, told investigators he was a passenger in the car when he was hit in the arm and the leg.

The man told police a silver car approached from behind and began shooting at the vehicle he was in.

The victim is expected to be OK.

JSO said it does not have any suspect information available at this time.
