The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office is investigating a reported abduction and sexual assault of a juvenile on the city’s Westside and is for the community’s help in attempting to identify a possible suspect in the case.

On Monday, at approximately 6:15 p.m., the 13-year-old victim was reported to be walking near the 5800 block of Timuquana Road when approached by a man driving what appeared to be a silver Nissan Sentra. As the vehicle stopped, police said the victim got inside the car, thinking it was a family member.

The suspect vehicle is described as a 2008-11 model year 4-door, possibly a silver Nissan Sentra.
