JSO searching for felon suspected of killing man on Blanding Blvd.

The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office is searching for a man named Julian Williams for his involvement in the gas station killing of 20-year-old Christopher Thurston in July.

The shooting happened at the Mobil station at 8410 Blanding Blvd. Thurston died after being taken to Orange Park Medical Center. 

Williams, 36, is suspected of waiting outside the Mobil after an argument and shot one victim as he left. The other victim, who was inside the store, was also hit.

Williams has an active warrant for Murder, Aggravated Battery and Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon. He is considered armed and dangerous.
