JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — A loaded gun was found at Terry Parker High School in the Arlington area.
A search was immediately conducted on campus after a student provided a tip about a possible gun on campus.
Duval County Schools police and school administrators conducted the search and found a loaded gun in a student's possession. Officials took the gun immediately.
The student was taken into custody.
The student, who hasn't been identified, faces criminal charges and possible expulsion.
No students were threatened or harmed, according to school officials.
