Man found with bullet wounds lying in road beside car in Westside

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Police found a man with multiple gunshot wounds lying in the road next to a car early Saturday morning.

An officer was driving in the 2500 block of West Beaver Street around 12:30 a.m. when he saw a vehicle with bullet holes stopped in the right hand lane, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office.

They also found a man with multiple gun shot wounds laying next to the car.

Fire Rescue took the man to UF Health Jacksonville for treatment.

Police do not know where the shooting happened and are investigating.
