Police are investigating after a man was shot near West 45th Street and Avenue B on Tuesday evening.
The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office said it got a call of a person shot and found one victim on the sidewalk.
He was transported to UF Health Jacksonville and his condition is not known at this time.
No suspect information was available; police were interviewing witnesses.
