JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — A three-vehicle crash Wednesday morning closed the northbound lanes of Interstate 295 for four hours.
The crash happened near the Interstate 10 eastbound exit ramp. The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office said the crash closed all lanes between Normandy Boulevard and the I-10 exit ramp.
Officials said a truck crossed the median and hit a van and an SUV.
A person in the truck was ejected in the crash, officials said. The person is being treated for life-threatening injuries. Neither person in the truck was reportedly not wearing a seat belt.
The driver of the van was taken to Orange Park Medical Center.
The driver of the SUV was not injured, officials said.

"It’s a complex scene, due to the fact it involves the north and southbound sides of the interstate," said FHP Sgt. Dylan Bryan. "Right now, we are anticipating about a two hour closure."

The lanes opened to traffic at about 1:30 p.m.
It is not known what caused the crash.
