Officers are investigating after a man was found shot and killed inside a car near Edward Waters College in Jacksonville late Sunday night.
The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office said it got a report of shots fired near Dot and 4th streets around 11:10 p.m. and found that the shooting happened in a park near Pearce and Dot streets.
JSO said an EWC security guard found the man dead inside the car near Grunthal and 4th streets. The man's friend was also shot and was driven to UF Health Jacksonville by a friend.
Police do not have a description of the suspect or suspects at this time and the identity of the man killed has not been released at this time.
