JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Four people were hurt in a multi-vehicle crash Wednesday involving a Jacksonville Sheriff's Office officer that was trying to pull over a motorist.
Around 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, a JSO officer was trying to perform a routine traffic stop when the subject refused to yield to officer’s lights.
The motorist continued driving and crashed into three other cars, including the JSO cruiser.
Three juveniles involved in the crash were sent to UF Health Jacksonville. One of the juveniles and an adult is in serious condition, according to JFRD.
The crash closed one southbound lane at Interstate 295, and temporarily closed all northbound lane traffic.
