All southbound lanes of the Dames Point Bridge in Jacksonville are closed after a semi truck overturned.

Fire rescue officials helped pump fuel off the bridge after 10 gallons leaked after the crash.

The Florida Highway Patrol said officials have no idea how much fuel the truck is holding.

Troopers have not said when they think the bridge will reopen.

FHP is encouraging drivers to seek alternate route.

First Alert Traffic's Derrick Odom says a detour for I-295 SB at Heckscher Drive may help alleviate congestion.

Those stuck on the bridge were escorted to the very right of the lanes on the bridge.
