Swimmer dies after reported drowning at Huguenot Park

A person died after a reported drowning at Huguenot Park on Sunday.

Jacksonville Sheriff's Office began investigating a death at Huguenot Park after a drowning was reported just before 4 p.m.

Jacksonville Fire Rescue said they took one person to Nassau Baptist Medical Center.

Officials have not released the victim's identity.

Jacksonville Beach Ocean Rescue said they have helped a lot of swimmers get back to shore and rip currents have been present this weekend.
