The Atlantic Beach Police Department has identified the man behind the wheel of the Chevy Spark that crashed into the AshleGryre boutique early Sunday morning.
ABPD said in the report that Michael Inciso, 32, was driving under the influence when his car struck the front of the boutique, also damaging the neighboring Jimmy John's shop.

According to the APBD, an officer witnessed Inciso driving erratically a right before the crash.
Officers began a DUI investigation after noticing a strong odor of alcohol and lethargic, slow behavior from Inciso.

According to ABPD, Inciso spoke shortly and attempted sign language.
The officers asked if Inciso was deaf, to which he replied "yes", but then began speaking to the officers, refusing to complete field sobriety tests.
Inciso faces charges of driving under the influence, driving under the influence with property damage, and careless driving.
Police said the crash happened at about 2 a.m. and a photo sourced from a community page shows the car broke through the glass window.
