Tenikka's Books for Kids: Donate books now through March 17!

From now until March 17, drop new children's books off at any Jacksonville Public Library location for Tenikka's Books for Kids.

Literacy is a vitally important tool for kids to succeed yet many underprivileged children in our area don't have books of their own. Action News Jax Family Focus, 95.1 WAPE and the Jacksonville Public Library are teaming up to change that.

Tenikka's Books for Kids is a book drive collecting new children's books for the Jacksonville Public Library's summer learning programs. All eligible books will be given out to children enrolled in the programs so that they can have reading materials of their own.

You can donate books at any Jacksonville Public Library location from now until Saturday, March 17. You can also drop books off at the Action News Jax studios and the 95.1 BIG APE studios.

San Marco Books and More is matching donations to Tenikka's Books for Kids at their location. If you buy a new children's book there, the store will donate a book, too. Learn more about this partnership here.

If you have additional questions about the drive, please send an email to events@actionnewsjax.com.
