LAKE CITY, Fla. — The Lake City Police Department is investigating after a toddler was found dead inside a home last week.
On Friday, March 4, officers responded to SW Theresa Court where a child was reportedly unresponsive. LCPD said 23-month-old Zayne Teates was discovered deceased.
LCPD and the Florida Department of Law Enforcement are investigating the cause of the child’s death.
