Video: Ponte Vedra Beach woman accused of ramming car at intersection

Brandy Gleaton of Ponte Vedra Beach is in the Camden County Jail after Florida state troopers say she went on a drunken hit-and-run rampage with two kids in the vehicle.

Troopers say she hit eight cars in Florida before driving up I-95 to Georgia, where she hit two more, including a patrol car. She is charged with DUI, two counts of DUI endangerment of a child under 14, and a seatbelt violation.

Larry Roberts, the driver of the car that was rammed, says Gleaton sped off after hitting him at an intersection near River City Marketplace off I-95.

“She needs to get some help and i feel bad for the other victims involved in this senseless accident,” Roberts said. “She started ramming her car into my car, so I started spinning around.”
