Winn-Dixie parent company issues recall over listeria concerns

A Jacksonvile Winn-Dixie is slated to close in June, a move that will elminate 62 positions. 

Southeastern Grocers, the parent company of BI-LO, Fresco y Más, Harveys and Winn-Dixie stores, is issuing a voluntary recall of several Country Fresh produce products over listeria concerns.

The products were sold in 6-, 10-, 12- and 23-ounce packages. These products are being recalled as a precaution, and no illnesses have been reported.

These Country Fresh products were packaged under the Southeastern Grocers (SEG) label, and were sold Jacksonville Fresco y Más, Harveys, and Winn-Dixie Stores.

The UPC codes for the potentially affected products are:

  • SEG Tri Pepper Dice – 3825911565 (6 oz. package)
  • SEG Stir Fry Vegetable - 3825911781 (10 oz. package)
  • SEG Fajita Blend - 3825911785 (12 oz. package)
  • SEG Vegetable Kabob – 3825911592 (23 oz. package)

The packages have a “sell by” ranging between Aug. 12 and Aug. 20. Customers who have purchased these products should throw them away or return them to any of the listed stores for a full refund.
