Woman arrested in Jacksonville on suspicions of pouring glue in ATM

A woman was arrested in Jacksonville after being caught on camera pouring glue into an ATM after her card was declined, authorities said.

Gweynn Marie Brown, 32, was arrested Wednesday after the she poured the glue at an ATM at Beach Community Bank in Pensacola on Jan. 21. Police also said Brown had went to a Coatal Bank and Trust and did the same thing.

Brown was wanted in Walton County for multiple car burglaries and check fraud charges. Brown was also wanted by the Pensacola Police Department for criminal mischief charges that totaled to more than $1,000 each.

Daniel Asano, 25, was also arrested during the same time as Brown. He was also wanted for these charges. Asano and Brown were wanted in other cites throughout the southeast for various crimes, Pensacola police said.

Police identified Asano as the driver who sat in the rental car at the bank while Brown poured the glue into the ATMs.

Brown and Asano will be taken to Pensacola to face charges. Escambia County and Walton County sheriff’s offices are investigating.
