CLAY COUNTY, Fla. - A local firefighter and paramedic is out of a job after Action News Jax reported on an X-rated picture of him in uniform.

Since we first broke the story on Action News Jax at 5 on Tuesday night, we've learned Clay County Fire and Rescue Lt. Anthony Myrick has resigned after exposing himself in the picture.

Action News Jax’s Cole Heath spoke exclusively with a woman who said Myrick sexually harassed her years ago. The woman filed several complaints against Myrick.

She stepped forward after seeing our stories this evening. She said Myrick made aggressive unwanted sexual advances towards her in the past.

Clay County fire officials confirmed Myrick took the selfie exposing himself inside a Clay County fire station bathroom while on duty.

We've confirmed Myrick resigned Tuesday, but a woman who wanted to remain anonymous said Myrick's sexual behavior was a concern at the fire house before the picture surfaced online.

“They claimed him a liability, he was always inappropriate and he was so high up they thought they could never get rid of him,” the woman said.

She said she worked with Myrick, giving swine flu vaccines to Clay County special needs students in 2010.

“He would do walks of kids with CP, making fun of these children blatantly to their faces,” the woman said.

She said the county health department then terminated Myrick’s contract with them.

We found a written reprimand in Myrick’s file for the incident, along with 13 other pages of disciplinary records.

They say Myrick previously falsified information about a patient’s treatment and in another case didn’t give a patient proper medication.

“It doesn't surprise me that's the person he is,” the woman said.

We did call Myrick to try and get his side of the story and our call has not been returned.
