'Lunch Angels' pay off past due accounts for students

Some Gwinnett County students having trouble keeping up with the cost of school lunch got a big break Wednesday.
One parent at Knight Elementary School teamed up with one of his old classmates, Kyle Newman, to pay off past due lunch accounts for several students.
Patrick Gunn says he got the idea from Newman, who founded a non-profit organization called Lunch Angels NC.
“Newman and his partners in North Carolina had just paid off the debt of several elementary schools impacted by a string of burglaries, where the burglar went in and stole all the money out of a cafeteria. They went in and recouped all the funds for the school,” Gunn said.
