Florida man who tossed gator into Wendy's lets gator bite his arm

Gator on the floor of Florida Wendy's

JUPITER, Fla. — The Jupiter man who gained national attention when he tossed an alligator through a Wendy's drive-thru window is back in the spotlight with a video showing him allowing a new gator to bite his forearm.

A friend videotaped this round of alligator-infused hijinks and the video was posted on Facebook, the New York Daily News reports.

In the video, James is seen being coerced by his peers to take part in the biting. The gator was then brought out to chomp down on his forearm, while James yells that it is “tearing the skin.” Another person is shown prying the gator off with a screwdriver.

The video has since been taken off Facebook, and it was not immediately clear Friday either when it was shot or on whose account it was posted. The website The Smoking Gun said it was turned over to prosecutors when James was arrested in February.

In February, James was ordered not to have any contact with any Wendy's restaurants nor have possession of any animals, but it is unclear when this new video occurred. Both James and his parents could not be reached for comment.

The Post reports that James said he "probably would not" take part in any gator-related pranks anymore after being charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon for the incident at the Wendy's, at Southern and Cresthaven boulevards in Royal Palm Beach.
