Toronto, ON (Sports Network) - Toronto Blue Jays manager John Gibbons named five to his coaching staff for the 2013 season on Monday.

DeMarlo Hale will serve as Gibbons' bench coach, and he is very familiar with the AL East. He comes to Toronto after a one-year stint in Baltimore, where he was the third base coach. Before joining the Orioles, he worked on Terry Francona's staff in Boston.

Chad Mottola has been tabbed as the club's new hitting coach. He assumed the same duties with the club's Triple-A affiliate in Las Vegas the last three seasons.

Pete Walker will shift from bullpen coach to pitching coach, Luis Rivera will move to third base coach and Dwayne Murphy will take over as first base and outfield coach.

Walker's vacated bullpen coach position has not yet been filled.
