'Empire' preview: Phylicia Rashad to guest star

The "Empire" guest stars just keep coming. Last week, we saw rapper French Montana play a music mogul. This week, Phylicia Rashad will appear as Diana.

Rashad is best known as Claire on "The Cosby Show." Diana will be Angelo’s mother. Angelo, played by celebrity actor Taye Diggs, is Cookie’s new boyfriend.

In the upcoming episode, Cookie throws a dinner party to impress Diana.

“She’s prepared a wonderful dinner. It’s supposed to go flawlessly. But what Lyon dinner ever goes flawlessly?” asked Grace Byers, who plays Anika.
