The Deadline to register to vote in the Florida primary election is approaching.

Florida is a closed primary state, which means voters must register with a party to be eligible to vote in the primary election.

Feb. 16 is the deadline to register for the primaries.

Oct. 11 is the deadline to register for the general election.

Citizens can register to vote at any Jacksonville public library, tax collector offices or elections office.
