1 dead in Buckman Bridge crash

All southbound lanes of the Buckman Bridge reopened just before 10 p.m. Tuesday after being closed during a fatal crash investigation.

The crash happened around 7:20 p.m. One person died in the crash, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

That person was identified in an FHP press release as 22-year-old Stephanie Brooke Robinson.

According to the release, Robinson was driving a Suzuki motorcycle, which was traveling south on Interstate 295/Buckman Bridge.

"For an unknown reason, the driver of the motorcycle lost control and laid the motorcycle down," the release detailed.

FHP said the crash is still under investigation.
