JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Two people died Friday morning in a single-motorcycle crash on Arlington Expressway.
The Florida Highway Patrol said the driver of the motorcycle didn’t negotiate the curve from the Arlington Expressway onto the Southside Connector northbound ramp and collided with a barrier wall.
The driver and passenger were thrown from the motorcycle, over the concrete barrier, off the overpass and onto the Southside Connector, troopers said.
The driver, Eli Holley, 39, of Ormond Beach and the passenger, 34-year-old Renae McLaughlin of Jacksonville, died at the scene.
