Rescue crews took 23 students to hospitals after three school buses collided in Middleburg on Monday.
Officials said the crash happened near Blanding Boulevard and County Road 220 around 4 p.m. after one bus stopped suddenly as a traffic light turned red.
A bus ran into the back of the stopped bus, and a third bus ran into the two.
Ninety students from Wilkinson Junior High School were on the buses, and no life-threatening injuries were reported.
Students were evacuated from the buses after the crash.
Clay County School District released students to their parents and other buses took them home once Florida Highway Patrol released them from the scene.
