911 call released in St. Augustine murder-suicide of estranged husband, wife

The 911 calls have been released in a murder-suicide involving an estranged husband and wife in St. Augustine.

"I was just out front getting a delivery of a pizza and everything and I swear to God I heard a gunshot come from number 1," a caller can be heard saying.

Kathy and James Edwards died Thursday; both were found with gunshot wounds to the head.

Deputies said James Edwards killed his wife and then himself.

Kathy Edwards had filed multiple injunctions for domestic violence against James Edwards, court records show.

The St. Johns County Sheriff's Office said the couple was found in Kathy's home on Carter Road.
